Enoch Kim

Vice President

As the team lead for ICT clients, Enoch advises a range of companies – from Silicon Valley start-ups to Asia’s leading blue-chips – on developing tailored corporate strategies for market entry/expansion into emerging markets in China, India, and Southeast Asia. With a focus on technology, media, and telecommunications, Enoch advises clients on navigating cutting-edge trade and regulatory issues related to intellectual property, cross-border data flows, investment, and government procurement.

Prior to joining The Asia Group, Enoch previously served in several roles at the U.S. Department of State, where he supported a number of senior U.S. government officials to advance the Obama Administration’s rebalance to the Asia-Pacific region. In 2012, Enoch led the staffing and development of the Department of State’s East Asian and Pacific Affairs Office of Multilateral Affairs, where his work focused on regional institutions, the ASEAN connectivity agenda, and the Lower Mekong Initiative.

Enoch led the restructuring of The Asia Group’s philanthropic profile to advance an integrated model for philanthropy that leverages the firm’s expertise, networks, and resources throughout the Asia-Pacific and the United States. Today, The Asia Group Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a focus on youth education, women’s empowerment, and environmental protection.

Enoch graduated cum laude from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and received his Master of Arts in International Relations and Economics from The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). A California native, Enoch is an avid surfer, and his favorite contemporary chess player is Magnus Carlsen.
