Jennifer Schuch-Page is a Vice President at The Asia Group. She is the team lead for the firm’s energy and manufacturing sector clients, with a focus on emerging technologies, trade, and economic policy. In this capacity, Jennifer designs and implements tailored strategies for companies to cultivate stakeholder relationships, expand their business, and navigate complex regulatory and political challenges in Asia. Jennifer has developed and executed government relations campaigns to resolve a trade dispute for a multinational high-tech corporation and to manage regulatory risks for an oil and gas supermajor.
Jennifer draws on more than 10 years of experience on issues in the Asia-Pacific, including years working on the ground in Japan and Indonesia, to provide nuanced political and public policy analysis for companies to navigate complex environments. Leveraging this insight, Jennifer has helped a multi-billion dollar health services company establish and build a market foothold in Southeast Asia and developed tools for analyzing security risks to corporate supply chains and business operations.
Prior to joining The Asia Group, Jennifer served in several roles at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs (EAP) and at U.S. Embassy Manila, where she worked on maritime security issues, as well as U.S. economic and trade policy in Northeast Asia.
Jennifer also previously worked at McLarty Associates, a strategic advisory firm based in Washington, DC, where she helped Fortune 500 companies understand and address complex market and regulatory issues in the telecommunications, consumer goods, financial services, and energy sectors of Asia’s emerging market economies.
Jennifer earned an M.A. in International Economics and Southeast Asia and China Studies from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). She holds a B.A. in International Affairs from the Elliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University. She is proficient in Bahasa Indonesia.
